VSL: “Let there be time at the end of the Tunnel!”

Nano seconds GNSS comparaison  between  European Space Agency (ESA) in Noordwijk and Brussels.
Last week, VSL and CGI have connected together with Eurofiber and OPNT a Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) lab in Brussels with the UTC lab of the European Space Agency (ESA) in Noordwijk in order to compare atomic clocks. The TripleT project is part of the European GNSS Evolutions Program (EGEP) and is funded by the ESA. Objective of the project is to compare GNSS timing performance in nano seconds via a transnational glass fibre connection. The White Rabbit Time Transfer Protocol will be used. First results are expected in the upcoming months.
